We routinely establish and implement Health & Safety strategies, policies and procedures that will help to reduce risk and ensure we meet legal requirements, and have robust reporting systems embedded through all levels.

 

We’re Committed to Zero Injuries, Illnesses, and Incidents

We believe that all injuries and occupational illnesses, as well as safety and environmental incidents, are preventable, and are committed to a goal of zero for all of them. We always assess the health and safety impacts of our operations, and maintain all our facilities and transportation equipment so they are safe, secure and acceptable to industry standards.

 

We constantly analyse security threats and risks

Our facilities often store and transport large volumes of valuable and potentially hazardous liquids. To prevent theft, vandalism and even terrorism, we continuously identify and analyse security threats. Based on this risk evaluation, each of our storage facilities and equipment is equipped with countermeasures
that include fencing and physical security guards. An important part of our security philosophy is the thorough training and supervision of all third parties (e.g. truck drivers, contractors, fitters etc) who work for us.

Our security procedures and guidelines are integrated into daily operations activities so that they support the business. Security activities are closely coordinated with other business functions, including Legal, Internal Audit, Safety and Health, Human Resources and Communications.
